The Project
QRMNET Africa (Qualitative Research Methods Network Africa) - "Creating Networks of Excellence for Qualitative Research in the Social Sciences: A Training and Research Network in Sub-Saharan Africa." A project funded by the European Union and headquartered at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex, England, 2009-10. It consist of participants from all over Africa mainly facilitators, students(workshop participants), among others.
The Solution
QRMNET required a web solution that was more than a website, but a complete application built around the diverse needs of their users including facilitators (all around the globe), students (workshop participants), teachers, administrators, etc.
A web application development by Kava Media suited the projects needs by including online workshop applications, news/calendar, forums, chat rooms, virtual class rooms and more.
